Welcome to Koomail Tardy Community Centre, a modern facility serving as the community hub in Truganina South East. Here, you can connect with your community and access the services you need from our variety of health, educational and community services. It’s a place where everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability, is welcomed and celebrated.

Hire a space

We have various rooms and spaces available for hire that are suitable for multiple functions. From meetings, training, and seminars to recreational programs, playgroups, and social and religious groups, we focus on supporting groups and organisations that align with the local community’s goals.

Please note that we do not hire spaces out for private events or family functions.

Our spaces are fitted with features and amenities to provide you with an enjoyable experience including:

Community rooms for hire

Community Room 1

This room seats 40 people and can be used for activities for bigger groups.

Community Room 2

This room seats up to 40 people and is suitable for big groups and functions.

Meeting Room 1

This room seats up to 8 people and is great for small-scale meetings.

Meeting Room 2

This room can seat up to 4 people and is perfect for smaller meetings and consultations.

How to apply for a community space

1. Submit your enquiry

Let us know what space you are interested in by filling out the form below. Our team will the reach out to discuss your ideas. We are always eager to engage with activity providers and community groups.

2. Submit your hire application

Obtain a hire application pack from the centre reception, via email or by requesting when you fill out the form below. All Hire Application forms should be submitted directly to Koomail Tardy Community Centre, either in person or via email. Along with the completed Application Form, remember to include a copy of your Public Liability Insurance Certificate of Currency and Incorporation Certificate (if applicable).

 

3. Attend your induction

Once your booking is confirmed a Hire Agreement will be issued and an induction will be scheduled for you to familiarise yourself with the site, including receiving keys, alarm codes, emergency procedures, and after-hours contact details. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have.

4. Obtain your bond refund

Upon the return of the key and a satisfactory inspection of the building and its contents, your bond will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
